Denece Rhines
Director of Client Services
Ms. Rhines has over twenty years of client support experience and is the client’s
liason to Trans-Century, responsible for the coordination and timely execution
of services offered by Trans-Century.
A talented and efficient administrator, she also assists in the design and
production of client presentation and educational materials, patient satisfaction
surveys and managed care contract maintainence. Her eff orts help Trans-
Century to provide clients best-in-class services.
Ms. Rhines has served in various executive administrative support positions in
a variety of firms including large healthcare facilities and county government
and is active in her community providing much needed support to her local
school district.
Sally Crosby
Director of Data and IT Services
As the Director of Data and IT Services for Trans-Century, Ms. Crosby has designed many databases for use within the company to manage client lists and marketing efforts. Her most recent project was to design a database for the entry of information from Physician Office Site Surveys. Using this data in a comparative manner, provider networks are able to identify quality standards for their members, which can be incorporated in effective marketing programs. She has designed a system and forms for managing the fee messenger process for a number of clients, tracking responses and counter offers. Because of her training in computer network administration, Ms. Crosby is a valuable resource to the clients of Trans-Century. Since joining Trans-Century in 1994, Ms. Crosby has actively pursued her education in data systems management.
Teresa Miller-Howell, CMSR, CPCS
Director of Credentialing
Ms. Howell is responsible for all aspects of credentialing coordination and management including credentialing data management and verification, quality assurance, and department operations. She is responsible for ensuring that our clients maintain compliance with JCAHO, NCQA, state, federal and even corporate requirements and regulations.
During Ms. Howell’s many years of service in medical staff coordination, credentialing, and physician recruiting she has played key roles in the development and presentation of: employee and medical staff training programs, staff orientation programs, clinical conference programs, and has reviewed and revised medical staff and corporate bylaws.
Teresa is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and Purdue University, holds certifications as a Certified Medical Staff Recruiter and Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist.
Laura Hines
Client Relations Coordinator
Ms. Hines is responsible for the effective coordination of all communication efforts by and between Trans-Century and our clients. She leads the Memorial Health Partners Provider Relations department, triaging all incoming communiques, providing timely responses to physician requests and guiding problems through resolution.
